SFM Family Camping Weekend!

The SFM families go camping!! We organized a weekend away for any of the SFM runners and their families to go camping!  We had a wonderful time.  7 families were able to make it and there were so many kids running around!  Each family had their own campsite or cabin, and we met up at the pool, activity center, pillow jumping pad and ventured on a cool hike to look for Geodes! Jellystone parks never disappoint!  Always so many fun things for the kids to do!

On the way there - about 5 minutes away - our tire on the camper totally shredded!  It delayed us about 45 minutes, but Joe and the kids did a great job getting the spare time put on and getting us back on track!

On Saturday morning the Moms headed out on a run followed by the Dads - what a fit group we are!  It was really fun to travel with our running friends!

Last year we went to this same park and brought Henry so we decided to bring him along again!

 

Bark Camp State Park!

We had a wonderful long weekend away camping with the March clan!  We headed to Northeast Ohio to Bark Camp State Park.  We spent an afternoon at a local pool with the best water slide, we went on great hikes, runs and bike rides, we enjoyed bonfires and board games at the campground and enjoyed family time with grandma, grandpa and the Cumbas!  We even got to experience our very first Rodeo - WOW what an experience!! We had a mix of sadness for some of the ways they treated the animals to a lot of cool skills and events to watch.  It was definitely a true rural Ohio experience that we will not forget!!

Camping is always so relaxing and memorable full of great family time!

We had a really fun and hot day at the park beach - perfect weather and fun playing in the water and sand!
