Thanksgiving 2024!

Started the day with a family Turkey trot route around Pleasant Ridge!!  A variety of walkers, joggers and strollers!

We had a very relaxing morning with the Zhupikov's at our house followed by a lovely Ricke Family Thanksgiving at Aunt Lisa and Uncle Greg's!  It was  so nice to have all the Wetterau girls together - Amy hasn't been home for Thanksgiving in 10 years - what a treat!!!

Lisa had her house decorated beautifully and we had such a fun night with cousins and aunts and uncles! Oma and Opa were  able to join which was so special!

 

Wetterau Family Weekend Away!

Before Thanksgiving we headed to Madison, IN for an awesome weekend away with the fam!  The Zhupikov's planned to meet us here on their drive from NM but it didn't end up working out.  We still had a great time and really enjoyed this awesome town and the hikes nearby!  Definitely will be back to this great town!

 

Charlotte is 5!!

Our baby is FIVE!!! How is this even possible!?  You are so easy to love.  You are easily excitable, full of creative energy, use your imagination all day, make friends wherever we go and have a very determined and independent spirit!  We love you so!!!

You really wanted a new baby doll and a water bottle for your birthday! 

Your birthday was on a Wednesday so while I headed to work you spent the most special day with Omi and Opa!

You went out to birthday breakfast with Dad and picked breakfast food for dinner!

Your sisters even gave you extra snuggles and story time before bed!

For your 5th birthday we let you invite your friends over for a tea party - it was adorable, simple and just perfect!

Charlotte and Maria - could be sisters!  Love their sweet friendship!
