Special Guests and a Housewarming Party!

We were so lucky to have Uncle Andrew and Aunt Carolyn come visit a few weekends ago! They came to celebrate Jack's birthday and even more importantly, Andrew proposed to Carolyn while they were here in Cincinnati!!! We were so excited to celebrate such a great couple!!

A new sister in the March family and an awesome new Aunt for little Jack man!!

They brought Jack an awesome bday gift - his new favorite - a police car to drive around in just like Uncle Andrew and Grandpa! So Cool!!

Jack has already logged many miles in his car - and looks pretty proud everytime he climbs in!

We also had an awesome little housewarming party with some friends and family! I really enjoyed getting to decorate the new house for a party and celebrate Andrew and Carolyn again!

The weather was perfect and we were so thankful for everyone that could be here to enjoy the day!

Congrats Andrew and Carolyn!!! We are so excited to begin this wedding planning journey with you!!

First Haircut!

I think I would have waited awhile to give Jack his first haircut, but Joe just wasn't having the mullet! Ha

Joe and I decided to just give him a little trim and clean up the back a bit! 

He kept whipping his head around to see whAt the heck Papa was doing to him! Luckily Mama and Omi were there to distract him!

All done! He looks like such a little man now! 

Walks, Walks and More Walks!

Jack and I love to walk - we will meet friends or family anywhere, anytime for a walk! Jack loves his outdoor time and I love my social time! We get out for a walk everyday - often even twice a day if different people ask us - never want to miss an opportunity! 

We are so lucky to get to walk with Julie in the evenings and we just love catching up with her and jack gets his snuggle time!! Julie and I have been friends since way back in grade school - what a beautiful friendship we have kept! 

Another Celebration for a Special One Year Old!

Jack got to have another birthday party! This time with his Oma and Opa, Great Oma and Opa, Aunt Stefanie, Uncle Dave and Henry! We had a great dinner and bonfire at our house and had such a wonderful evening celebrating Jack!

Jack had the same expression the entire time! Ha maybe he doesn't like that hat..I'm seeing a direct correlation!

Happy birthday buddy! Thank you to all of our wonderful family and friends for continueing to make Jack feel so special!! 

Our big ONE year old!

Jack is ONE!! what an exciting milestone! Amazing to think back to the past year of our lives and see how it's changed and how we've grown! Jack has developed in so many ways and we have loved watching him learn to roll over, sit up, crawl, stand, giggle, find his voice, learn who we are..just to name a few of the exciting milestones he has hit over the year! 

We were fortunate to get to celebrAte his birthday with just our family in Florida! As beach lovers, we really enjoyed watching jack fall in the love with the ocean and beach as much as his mama and papa!! 

He even got to open his birthday present at the beach! We got him fabric vegetables and he loves them!!

We enjoyed snapping a few cute family photos and one year old photos at the beach!! 

Yesterday, on his actual birthday, we began our drive home from Florida but had the opportunity to stay the night in Atlanta with my mom's cousin Michelle and her beautiful family! Michelle and the kids made Jack feel so special on his birthday - we are so grateful for their generosity!  They had a birthday sign, birthday cake, a special dinner and gave Jack a set of blocks which he just loves!!

Jack got to celebrate a few weeks ago with the March family and will celebrate this week with the Wetterau clan - he is one very blessed and special little boy!! We got texts, phone calls and messages from friends and family all over the world wishing Jack a happy birthday - so much love!! Just to highlight a few - Thank you all for thinking of us on this special day

Happy birthday baby boy (can I still call him that!!?) No one will ever love you as much as your Mama and Papa!! 

Watermelon Machine!

Jack loves watermelon and could sit all day eating it if we would let him! Just don't want to forget the cuteness!!

March Family Vacation!

Last week we had an awesome time with the March clan at a cabin in Pennsylvania! So much time to relax and visit with the fam! Lots of card playing late into the night and more come hole games then I can count! 

The boys are so intense and competitive when they play games - but it's hilarious to watch!

The pictures of them trying to act out the word on dad's head are so funny! It's been awhile since the whole family has spent this much time together - and we really created some great memories!

We spent a few nice days on the beach! 

One of the days we spent at Idelwild theme park - an awesome children's park joe and his family went to many times as kids! It was so fun to show Jack around the park!

We even got to celebrate a few special birthdays during the trip! (Jack's was an early celebration!)

They all just love on Jack so much! Jack is so lucky to have this wonderful family to be a part of! A huge thank you to Grandma and Grandpa March for putting together and treating us to such a fabulous vacation!!
