Playing with Cousins!

Jack can't enough of all the cousins! He is really noticing kids and enjoying when they play with him! He has spent a lot of time with cousins this week!  His cousin's Simon and Lucia are really good with Jack and always likes to tell me the next cool thing Jack learned to do - Simon treats Jack like another 10 year old!

We really enjoyed spending all day Saturday at Oma and Opa's with the Adarves and Vogelsangs!

Even the cousins new puppy likes Jack's car seat!! So cute!

We have even staying with the Adarve/schweikert family this week/weekend so got to spend some time today on this beautiful Sunday at the park!

I love spending time with my cousins and watching them all grow up! They are just so cute!

 

Exploring Northside!

Today Dave and I took the boys to the Cincinnati Family Enrichment Center in Northside! The woman that taught our hypnobirthing class opened this cozy home that offers many resources for parents and children! They have a play cafe, coffee shop, very cozy atmosphere, gardens, baby yoga, prenatal yoga, and classrooms on the second floor of the home that offers many different classes for parents and for the children! We have been wanting to go see what it was all about and we really enjoyed it! We met very nice moms and their children and got to explore the grounds!  We will definitely be frequent visitors! And the nice thing is that it was only a 2 mile walk from Stef and Dave's house!

Jack and Henry were so excited to play with toys he doesn't have at home! In the picture above, Jack was really proud of himself for learning to close each object that popped up on that toy in front of him!

Picnicking with Friends!

It was a gorgeous 70 degree and sunny day! What better way to spend it then meeting our neighbors for a picnic! We packed our dinners and the adorable Jacks and had a great time! 

Jack's first time in a swing! He loved it! Now playing at the park can be added to our list of activities! 

This beautiful spring day got us so excited for the warm sunny days to come! Having a baby to enjoy the spring and summer activities with us is going to be a blast!!

The 2 little Jacks are really starting to figure each other out! This was the first time they were together that they were interested in each other and especially each other's toys! Love them!!

We're Goin To The Zoo Zoo Zoo

Today was Jack and Henry's first zoo trip! 60 degrees and sunny made for the perfect day! The trip was actually a bit spontaneous - Dave and I were out for a jog around Clifton and decided to stop at the zoo to get our passes for the year and continue our walk through the zoo!

Opa Bill for such a great Christmas gift - season passes to the zoo!! This will be our first of many trips this year!

Jack even learned to roar like a lion!

Six Months!!

We have had Jack for half a year already - wow!! Hard to believe 6 months has flown by, but at the same time I can't remember our life without our little buddy! 

This month Jack has really started developing a personality, he is sitting up, he is always looking around the room for his mom or dad whenever he hears our voices, he has developed more of a nap schedule during the day, he has had a few bites of banana and avocado, he scoots himself all around and is always turning in circles, he is so busy and grabbing for anything and everything, he loves playing with toys, and he just continues to bring us so much joy!!

Oh and he loves loves loves his tongue - it is always out of his mouth and cracks us up!

And he wore his first pair of jeans!! Looks just like his dad in this picture

We better start pulling the side of the crib up - that little man is about to jump right out! 

Happy half birthday little buddy!! You are such a good baby and keep us laughing all the time! We love you!
