We had an unexpected snow day! The joy in the kids when school gets called off is the best - takes me back to the joy snow days brought me as a kid (and still bring me!). I just love a day that is spontaneous and a day when I get to have everyone home!! We have the best neighborhood - kids just come running over when it snows to sled down the hill behind our house
Later in the weekend we met my family for more sledding up at Amberley Green. Lots of fast hills followed by a delicious dinner back at our house!
Nativity hosted an amazing adult night out - a 90's Dance Party! Joe and I really love a good theme and leaned into this one and had an absolute blast out with our friends! It was in the gym and felt like a true high school dance! I managed to squeeze myself into a "Katie" turtleneck from when I was 4...It was a hilarious midriff under that jean jumper. Having my name on my shirt was a total hit - not to mention the butterfly clips! Joe really killed it in his bucket hat and his 90s athleisure gear. Joe LOVES to dance and definitely ran the dance floor ALL night. He has so much confidence on the dance floor (something I wish I had) but also so fun to watch him in his element.
