We spent the weekend before Christmas from Saturday to Tuesday in Cleveland celebrating with the March family! It was a wonderful few days. The kids were spoiled by the family and I just love their excitement of going to Cleveland! We drove there after the German school Christmas concert on Saturday which was also Josefine’s birthday.
My mom and bill threw an amazing Christmas Eve party for the Ricke family so we drove back from Cleveland, attended Christmas Eve mass at our new parish - nativity, and then headed to my Mom and Bills for a great night!
When we got home on Christmas Eve the kids put out cookies and milk, sprinkled reindeer food in the front yard, and excitedly headed to bed!
Christmas Day we had absolutely no plans and it was completely perfect in every way! We stayed in our jammies, ate delicious food, drank coffee all day, played with new toys, went for an awesome hike, enjoyed sunny warm weather, napped, and visited with amy and Zhenya - it was everything I had dreamed of!!
I really enjoyed the house being decorated for Christmas and sitting in the festive house with a cozy fire so many days of the christmas season brought me great joy!! I’m already excited to decorate next year
