Camping at East Fork State Park

The Meyers and Marchs ventured to the woods for an overnight that turned into quite the adventure! We arrived Tuesday afternoon and in the extreme heat we setup camp, road bikes, hiked and made dinner! We built a fire for s’mores, read books and hung out with Mom and Bill (they joined for the evening!). After all climbing in bed pretty late we were awoken around 2am to thunder, lightening and some leaking tents. We made the call at 2:30 to pack our all our stuff, load everything and the kids in the cars and head home! The happy ending is that all of us were back in bed and asleep by 4am 🤣.  It will be a camping trip to remember and a trip we would love to redo in the Fall! 

Toledo and the Febus Lake House

We had an awesome getaway for a mini vacation up north! The Febus family always so generously invites us to their lake house in the summer. This time we visited the Cumbas in Toledo the night before!

The weekend was spent fishing, boating, swimming, relaxing, eating amazing food, kids all playing together,  and enjoying the great company together - we love the Febus Family!! 

Lake Lorelei 💕

Stefanie, the kids, and I went to the lake house this week on a Monday afternoon and stayed until Tuesday afternoon! It was absolutely perfect! The kids swam, fished, and played the entire time and we just had such a relaxing time!
