Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

The girls started their Thursday morning preschool program at nativity last week! Mrs. Lennard let Josefine join with Elisabeth now even though she isn’t 3 until December! She is beside herself to be going to school!
When she woke up Thursday morning she looked at me from her bed and said “I’m gonna get dressed and go to preschool now. bye mom I will see you later at our house.” Elisabeth was also soo excited to be back at Atrium again this year and get to show Josefine all the special things she will get to do. It’s been so cute to watch the friendship continue to build in these 2 girls with Jack off at school!

Ten Months!

Charlotte is 10 months old! She has started to know what’s happening more. She won’t let the kids take toys from her like before, she knows signs for “more” “all done” and “food”. She says Mama and Dada with purpose and moves all over the house very independently! She is working on keeping up with the big kids but is still pretty content to just watch them and dream of the days she will keep up! She’s still a good sleeper and eater and is very very attached to Joe! She often cries when I try to take her from Joe and will cling onto his neck 🤣

Jack is 7!!

My baby boy is SEVEN! So hard to believe! He is just such a special kid! He is kind, empathetic, giving, caring, interested, has a love for learning, likes adventure and is a really good role model to his sisters. We are so proud of him and the kid he is becoming! This year he started 1st grade, joined the nativity soccer team, went to adventure camp at the park this summer and has built a few new friendships. He has spent lots of time with Henry and has continued to develop such a great relationship with him. He has 3 sisters and a Henry! They often feel like brothers to me which will always be special to me!

Jacks 7th birthday dreams included: a flashlight, a water bottle that would keep his ice from melting, and a waterproof dinosaur watch. As well as having his cousins and next door neighbors over for science experiments and a bagel bar! It was a great day! We also drove to Cleveland on his birthday so that was extra special!

Jack learned about BB8 in a book and was loving the idea of a cake to look like that! Joe impressively whipped this up!

His dreams come true with these gifts! He also got a few really awesome toys from family and friends! We are so grateful for all the people in our lives that truly love Jack and make him feel so special! Happy 7th Birthday sweet boy!!
