Our Big Kindergartener!

Jack started kindergarten at Nativity last week and we are all so excited about this new journey for him! We have already fallen in love with the school and have felt so much support from families and administration in this starting process. Jack started last Thursday and has half days for the first 5 days and will go for his first full day (8-3) this coming Thursday. I was worried about him
Being ready for full day but this morning he asked “how many more of these half days do I have to do - i just want to stay all day!” That felt so nice to hear!

I can’t get over kids in their uniforms - so stinking cute

He has been so excited each morning and comes down all dressed in his uniform ready to go! (I hope this behavior continues!) he chats a lot with me before and after school to
Fill me in on details (also a behavior I hope e continues!) He has mentioned a few kids names that he has been hanging out with and loves art, music, and gym class!

This week the school held the most beautiful opening school prayer service to pray for the year, welcome the new students, and pray over and celebrate the staff. It was a total reminder of why we chose a catholic school - it was so beautiful! We are excited for this school year! I’ve loved the new routine of getting kids up in the morning and walking to school. Gives us such a nice start to the morning! Loving our neighborhood and school even more.

Hidden Valley, PA

We had another fantastic getaway this summer with the March family! We rented a house in hidden valley resort in Pennsylvania. We enjoyed 5 days at the pool, relaxing at the house, letting the cousins play, going to the lake beach and visiting Idelwild amusement park! So many great memories made! The adults stayed up late each night laughing and playing games!

While in PA we celebrated Joe’s Dad’s 60th birthday!! We brought story of life cookies from a lady I know in Cincy that makes these works of art! They were a big hit

It’s been so great having Andrew and Alexandra’s families each have a daughter because now more of the siblings are in kid mode when we travel!

Summer Fun!

Next week school starts and we will be (sadly) dropping big boy Jack at kindergarten on Thursday! He is so excited and so ready and I know I’m ready too but still feeling so bittersweet about it all! I feel really excited for this new stage of life for him but anxious about jumping into the school system and school schedule. It will be a big shift/change for us! We have really been soaking up summer and I’ve been trying hard to keep up with these kiddos as I enter my third trimester of pregnancy this week!

We had the febus/Jacobs clan for dinner with the Meyers! Love getting all these cuties together!

These 2 boys are just the best! The meyer and March  kids have been and continue to just become the best of friends!! It’s so amazing!!

Elisabeth has taken it upon herself to start potty training Josie 🤣 Josie sits on the potty and grunts like she’s pooping and then Elisabeth checks and reads books to her

Pleasant ridge day happened in the beginning of August and it kicked off with a parade! We enjoyed the days with lots of neighbors!

I of course love all my kids but this 1.5 year old lately has been stealing my heart! She is so well behaved and adorable and just makes me laugh all the time! Love all my snuggle time with this baby!

Jack is always so helpful! He will put necklaces on his sisters, put their shoes on, help them carry toys, unbuckle them from car, get food and drinks for them and the list goes on! We will miss you when you’re at kindergarten buddy!! You are the best big brother!

I have loved all the pool days this summer and great warm weather! School starts tomorrow
For jack and our world will be a bit rocked and our schedule will change a little! It will all be ok and I’m sure I’ll welcome the change but for now it feels very bittersweet!
