A Special Day!

This weekend has been special for 2 reasons! 

1) We got to celebrate this very special mom and Oma's birthday! We love her so much!!

2) Joe, Stefanie, Dave and I got to drop the babies off with a friend and hit the bike trails!! A great hard bike ride on a gorgeous morning without the babes was exactly what we all needed!!

This whole Memorial Day weekend has been so sunny with temps in the 80s!! It has just been relaxing and full of memorable family time! Tomorrow we top off a great weekend celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary!

Kicking off the Summer!

A visit to the lake house for a day of spring cleaning always means summer is here! And today was a perfectly peaceful and beautiful day to do that!!

I took so many pictures today because the lighting and the green trees and blue sky (and squishy baby thighs) were just perfect and I don't want to forget how truly blessed I felt today!!

On the way out to the lake we stopped in Milford at an adorable ice cream parlor!

We enjoyed a great day with Oma and Opa, mom, Stefanie, Dave and Henry!

Jack and Joe were loving watching the boats drive by down on the dock!

The water was very refreshing today!

We even managed to get a few kayak races in!

So many more summer days and nights at the lake this summer - we cannot wait!

Community Blend!

Norwood got a coffee shop! It's the perfect addition to our great town! It's called Community Blend and it's a worker-owned, fair trade coffee shop that's full of energy and hope for the rebuilding of the neighborhood! Tricia, the boys and I tried it out for the first time today! 

Jack Brichler - 9.5 months, Jack March - 8.5 months, Henry Meyer - 5.5 months! Lovin all these crazy boys!!

Soaking up the Sun!

More beautiful days in cincy so we have been getting outside every chance we get!

The boys love the swings! They could stay in them all day if I would let them!

Jack hanging out in his cool go-pod he got from his aunties!! We can fold it up and take it anywhere!

My First Mother's Day!

My first Mother's Day was a beautiful day spent with 3 wonderful mothers I look up to and am so blessed and thankful for! Joe and Jack treated me so special and the warm sunny day just couldn't have been better! 

Jack has been the perfect little addition to our family - I often can't wrap my head around just how lucky we are to have him! He brings me more joy then I ever imagined!! It is an honor to hold the title of "mother" to such a handsome little man!

Eight Months!!

Our baby isn't so little anymore! This month Jack went from little baby to a wild man!

 

He started crawling, pulling himself up to standing, pulling everything off the coffee table and book shelf, and just showing off such a personality!

And he's driving!!

We have had a lot of fun so far this spring enjoying the warmer weather and being outside as much as possible!

We are still loving having Henry spend 2 days a week with us! The boys are starting to notice each other! 

Jack is so easy to make laugh!  He is starting to understand when we are being silly and he knows how to be silly! You can tell when he is proud of himself for figuring out a new trick! He loves sitting in his high chair at the dinner table with us! His favorite foods are yogurt, chicken, kiwi, eggs, and bananas!

He still loves nursing and cuddling with his Mama! When he gets tired he wants his Mama and will let us know! He sings all the time and has started saying "da da da" and copying noises we make. He lights up when his Mama and Papa walk into the room and just is the sweetest, happiest little guy! He loves being around other kids and usually finds himself a friend wherever we are!

He always wakes up with a smile on his face - Joe and I still race to Jacks room in the morning to see who gets to give him his first snuggle of the day!

Happy 8 months little buddy! We love you!

A Day With the Boys!

A rainy Saturday in Cleveland means a day at the bowling alley!!

Jack loves his uncles!!

Today Joe's brother Michael is in town to hang out with us! Michael, Jack and I went downtown to meet up with Joe for a picnic lunch and frisbee at Sawyer Point!

Jack could not get enough of watching us throw the frisbee!

Joe loves a reason to slip out of work and spend time with his little buddy!!
