Camping with friends!

Last weekend we went camping with college friends and kids! We headed to Hueston Woods! Joe and I arrived with the kids on Friday night and had a relaxing family night and our friends arrived around lunch time on Saturday. The weather cooperated and we had an awesome weekend! 

We had the entire camp ground to ourselves - it was so quiet and perfect!

We did some running, some hiking, played at the beach, sat around the campfire, made some delicious food, a little sleeping and a whole lot of exploring! 

We are so grateful for our friends and for the memories we made this weekend! 

Eight Months!

Time is really flying around here lately! We are somehow approaching Labor Day and the end of summer and my baby is eight months already!!

Josefine is busy busy! She crawls all over the place, pulls herself up on anything she can, eats so many things off the floor. I’ve felt a little crazy lately running around trying to find her and figure out what one of the toddlers dropped that’s now stuck in josefine’s mouth! But then she just looks up at me with her mischievous little smile and it all feels worth it!

She is full of personality, easy to make laugh and getting a bit clingy to her mama! 

When she cries jack and Elisabeth can always get her to stop by singing, tickling her or playing with her!

Happy eight months Josefine Rose! We love you so!

So Much Play!

These 3 kiddos are always playing together, coming up with games, fighting over their Josie Rosie time, and melting my heart with their cuteness!

We’ve spent some great days at home lately! 

This girl loves books as much as Jack - never thought that would be possible! 

This turned into a bit of a picture dump which I need to do a few of these since I’ve gotten behind on blogging! It’s already August and these summer months are flying by! Soaking up these 3 babies as much as I can!

So grateful for my days Home with Jack, Elisabeth and Josefine - they really are at great ages right now and watching the 3 of them interact is very special!

Seven Months!

Josefine Rose is seven months and keeping us on our toes! She has figured out crawling and will put anything big or small in her mouth she can find! Watch out world!

She is such a giggly, strong and chunky little lady!

We’ve dabbled in a few foods but nothing consistent. Some days she enjoys it and other days it just turns into her playing with the spoon! 

She really loves Roxie and follows her around/pulls on her hair! 

She wishes so much she could run around like jack and Elisabeth! They make her laugh so much and already she tries to keep up!

She had her 6 month checkup and weighed a healthy 20lbs! Love all those rolls!!
