Lots to be Thankful for!

Coming into Thanksgiving this week we spent time as a family to focus on we are grateful for! We will not be able to see our families this year for thanksgiving due to the pandemic and the increase in cases. We are deciding to focus on all we have this week rather than what we don’t have! It’s been a very helpful perspective for us all!

Josie told me “my chicken is invisible because she has a force field around her!” 🤣

Josie’s first time working really hard to stay in the lines!

The other kids have been doing so much art work - always been a favorite thing around here and I love their creations and creativity!!

Oh Josie Rosie

Just an update on our spunky 2 year old! She’s just the best! She makes me laugh all day. She is constantly singing and belting out all her favorite songs while she plays make believe with her toys. She has such a big imagination and loves to play babies and mama and house and cars and legos. She’s starting to enjoy art and colors all the time. She does everything quickly without paying much attention to detail.

Some words She says incorrectly that I hope I never forget:

Fampomeene - trampoline
Fit-a-boo - peek-a-boo
Atchally - actually
Me yuv my mommy! Me yuv my
Daddy
Hi yiddle Cootie - she says this to jack Elisabeth and Charlotte in a funny baby voice
I’m going to ride my big boy bike!

She is super snuggly and always talks our ear off! She is obsessed with “mommies milkies” and nurses quite often. She plays so well with each sibling. She knows how to get joe and I to say yes in sneaky ways. She gets sooo excited about little things and always looks out of the side of her eye to see if Elisabeth is as excited. She is very independent and can often be found biking over to the neighbors or knocking on their door calling for her friends! I could go on and on because she is just so darn entertaining!

She dresses herself, helps herself to food. Can whip up 3 bowls of yogurt with applesauce, cinnamon and a few drops of stevia - one for her and her siblings - in a matter of minutes. She puts her shoes on, takes showers on her own with jack and Elisabeth, brushes her teeth, takes care of herself in the bathroom and makes sure to always keep a close eye on charlotte to make sure she is following the rules and not getting into trouble 😉 she’s quite The independent 2 year old who never fails to amaze me and keep me on my toes!

She’s always running around the house yelling “where’s my phone someone is calling me!” Then has to hold her phone with her face and shoulder because she needs her hands free

In this picture she packed up all her special things and was protecting her things from a “huge wormie in the garage that was going to eat me”

Gosh Josefine not sure what I would do without you! You are just so fun!

Eleven Months!

Nothing like waiting until the last day of her 11th month to post! Charlotte has a big month! She has started making new noises and she started WALKING! she has been such a champ moving all around and becoming so confident in her walking! She started walking about 3 weeks and ago and just took off! She always has a big smile on her face as she waddles around with so much pride! It’s been a chaotic month with the pandemic and the 2020 presidential election - both things she won’t remember but I’ll be sure to share with her later in life! She’s getting so engaged with toys and people!

Growing so fast and always being soo sweet! We love you Charlotte Marie! You are the snuggliest, chillest, most content baby! You are just such a joy and we are so blessed to have you baby girl 💕
