Kindergarten Roundup

Elisabeth got to attend kindergarten orientation in her new classroom last week! She counted down the days until this very exciting and anticipated event and barely slept the night before out of excitement! Someone handed down a school uniform jumper a few days before and she was set on wearing that just like she will in kindergarten. It was so fun to watch her prepare and talk about it!

After her time in the classroom, I took her out for a hot chocolate date! She was beside herself! She talked my ear off about kindergarten kickoff!  “One girl said they liked my headband, I told a girl I liked her necklace, I made a new best friend named June, Mrs. Wolber and Ms. Flesner gave me all these tests and I got every single thing right! I made cards for my teachers and got to read books and play with toys!”

We love watching you grow up and we know kindergarten in the Fall is going to be a great experience for you! Now to soak up my days left with you home with me 😘

Spring is Coming!

The weather is beginning to turn, outside time is increasing, winter coats are washed and put away, diapers are being hung outside to dry, we’ve started cleaning up the backyard and setting up outside furniture, the time changed last night and the days are getting longer, I turned 34 and we are heading into Jacks school spring break! All this feels significant this year because we’ve spent so much time at home and have had the time and excitement to focus on small changes and new seasons! 

She carries this box, pulls it up to the window and says “see!”
