Thanksgiving!

 We stayed in Cincinnati this year for Thanksgiving, and it was a wonderful long weekend full of family, relaxing time home, good exercise and a huge basement cleanout/organization which brought me so much joy!!

My mom hosted Thanksgiving this year and it was such a lovely evening party with Oma and Opa, Aunts and Uncles and cousins!  I have very few pictures but just a few to capture the day!  The weather was perfect and warm, so we had an awesome run in the morning!

Charlotte is Three!

 Charlotte Marie you are THREE!  How is it possible that our baby is three years old!  She is so silly and goofy.  She loves to make people laugh, she makes friends everywhere she goes, she loves her brother and sisters, she plays great independently but also will happily join any game her siblings are playing, shes wildly independent and at times a bit stubborn.  She loves to play babies, family, barbies, magnatiles, horses and color.  She is so sweet and loves to snuggle.  She makes us all laugh and really loves to make us all laugh.  Happy third birthday to my baby!!

She joined her siblings at German school this year on Saturdays and LOVES it. 

She has learned to draw people and likes to draw our family!

For Charlottes birthday we celebrated by going on a hike with the Meyers and Omi and Opa followed by brunch on our back patio!

Her cousins and siblings surprised her on the hike by all circling around her and blowing bubbles at her in celebration at the same time!  They kept saying "selbbub the out pass" which was code for "pass out the bubbles" so charlotte wouldn't know their secret - it was adorable!! 

I have loved watching you grow sweet Charlotte!! I have loved watching our friends and family fall in love with your spunky personality, silliness and hugs you like to hand out!  I love that your GiGi calls you her little angelic girl and you have such a connection to GiGi and Great Oma.  The last time we saw GiGi you and her got the giggles together - I wish I could have bottled up those laughs! You bring us so much joy - how blessed we are to have you!  Happy Third Birthday Charlotte Marie!

Halloween 2022!

 Halloween 2022 brought to you by Ron from Harry Potter, a dead cheerleader, repunzel, and a green monster!   We have such a great neighborhood for trick or treating and it feels equally as fun for the adults as for the kids!  Great to see all our friends out with their kids.  This year we all made it until the very end!

Halloween is always Joe's birthday as well, so we had a great long weekend being together as a family and celebrating Joe!  Mom and Dad came into town to celebrate Joe and see the kids.  We hung out at home, took walks, and brought them to the boy scout Halloween night.  We also went to the museum and carved pumpkins with Joe on his off day on Friday for his birthday!
