Final Camping Trip of the Season

 We got to squeeze one more camping trip this season at Winton Woods.  I cannot believe we were only 15 minutes from home!  It was a great campground and we will definitely be back! We just had 24 hours of unplugged family time - games, playgrounds, walks around the lake, camp fire, and chipotle!  A sweet Fall memory.

Jack's 10!!

 Our oldest turned 10 - wow!! a whole decade of parenting under our belts and it has been the best 10 years of my life!  His empathy, love for adventure, creative mind, obsession with reading, and kindness and love for his family and friends is unmatched! We enjoy you so much Jack - you are SO easy to love!

This year he got to have a friend birthday party and he chose to have 5 of his close friend's sleepover in the camper on our driveway! They had an absolute blast! He has found a great group of friends that equally enjoy the outdoors and crave adventure and nature!

We had a busy school day on his actual birthday and Joe had a work event he couldn't get out of so I picked Jack up from soccer with his friend and sisters and we got Ice cream!!

Jack's bday party started out with a game of bowling and a Bengals cookie cake!

Seeing this smile on Jack around his friends brings me so much joy! 9 and 10 year olds are so sweet!

We got to celebrate the September birthdays at the Meyers!

And he got to celebrate with his other birthday cousin when the Cumbas came to stay for a weekend!! Therese wanted to all sit in the camper to watch the new Little Mermaid and it was such a hit!!

Labor Day Weekend College Reunion!

 The second annual reunion happened with our college friends that all used to live in Cincinnati post college and 3 of the families have since moved.  It was so great to all be together and see all the kids play and get along so well!  We had 10 adults and 15 little kids all in one house and I cannot believe how well it went!! We just love these families and all their cuties so much!!
