Christmas 2021!

 We had an awesome Christmas this year!! We loved being home and having so much time being together as a family!  My mom hosted Christmas Eve for the Ricke clan, and it was such a great party! We spent Christmas day at home just the 6 of us and Joe and I had the 2 weeks off around Christmas, so we headed out for activities and hikes and lots of board game playing at home!

We also got to celebrate Christmas again on the Tuesday after Christmas since everyone in the family happened to be off! It was a really fun mid-week celebration!  We stayed at my mom for 9 hours and enjoyed every minute!!

We also had awesome warm weather the week after Christmas and did some garage organizing, zoo dates, more hiking, long bike rides and tons of outside play! and the kids made this "water bucket trap" to trick joe.  There was a note on the ground by the bricks that read "Papa, move the bricks slowly and carefully"  haha

My mom sewed the kids these amazing horses!! they have been wearing them around all the time!  Josie always rides her "horse" (bike) around the neighborhood, so an actual horse is perfect!

Christmas in Cleveland!

 We had an amazing long weekend in Cleveland celebrating Christmas!  We went the weekend before Christmas and got to have a lot of time with family and also be there to celebrate Josefine's 4th birthday!

I got to go on a nice long hike with my mother-in-law! I always really enjoy our walks and our time together!

So much cousin time!! Josefine was really excited to get to celebrate her birthday with all her girl cousins on the March side - what a special memory

We just love our time in Cleveland! THe kids LOVE being at Grandma and Grandpas - we are relaxed and comfortable and really enjoy our time with the march family
