Murder Mystery Party

Joe and I hosted a murder mystery party with a group of friends, and it was the BEST party!  We went all out for it by following all the games instructions and setting up the table, the menu, the outfits and the ambiance just so! The night took place in the 1940s Casablanca and all the couples came completely decked out in costume complete with accents.  It was really such an amazing night!  I hired my cousin Kelly to be the waitress for the night to serve the 4-course meal I had made between each round of the game.  This allowed me to be fully engaged in the game without having to get up and to make sure she could keep the drinks flowing and the food hot!

The menu included:
appetizer: brie, bread and apples, cheese and crackers
starter: french onion soup
dinner: vegetables, potatos and boeuf bourguignon
dessert: macaroons and vanilla ice cream
drinks: lots and lots of red and white wine and beer

here I am before the party looking like a hot 1940s housewife prepping dinner in my hot rollers and apron

candlelit dinner table set with all the fancy china for the 12 guests.  Name tags were included in the game because there was a specific seating chart for us to follow

We started out with appetizers and introducing each of our characters so we knew who we would be hanging out with tonight!

I don't know that any of us have laughed that much and that hard in years!  We all had lots of drink and lots of accents to entertain us!  We sat down at the table at 7pm and no one got up until 11.  The murder was solved!
