The Buckley and Zhupikovs spent a good chunk of the summer with us, and it was such a joy to have them! The kids had a great time with Quincy and Helene, and it was so special to watch my kids get close to my cousins! We got to take the Buckleys camping, have them over to play, show them around our favorite Cincy spots, spend time at the lake and enjoy lots of days of bracelet making and other crafts!
Amelia was here for about 2 weeks and was just so fun to be with and my kids cannot get enough of her!! We even got to have Amelia over for a sleepover while A and Z went away for the night and man were the kids (and Aunt Katie) in total heaven spoiling her to pieces!

My sisters and I had our first appointment downtown with the German Consulate to begin the process of getting the 3 of us and our kids our German Passports!
One very excited 3-year-old who got to pick out a toy at the store for stopping sucking her thumb! It was so funny to witness her thought process as she tried to talk herself into the perfect pick!
