Happy Birthday Opa!

We've recently enjoyed a few summer like days  that southern Ohio likes to throw our way just when we think fall is here. I will never complain about that! I love the heat!

We spent some evenings after work last week downtown by the river and the kids still played in the fountains!

Elisabeth has a "say cheese" face now and it's cracking us up! That girl loves to pose!

We spent a morning relaxing (E took that to the extreme) at Oma and Opa's to visit with Uncle Michael while he is in town from Norway.

And a collection of photos from outings and mornings at home!

Just waiting on the porch for Papa to get home from work - so big! "Mama, I'll be outside watching for Papa!"

Jack started in a little preschool on Thursday mornings for 1.5 hours at Nativity Catholic School called Catechesis of the Good Shephard. A program designed to teach children church songs, prayer and how to care for the church and the altar and to offer these works of their hands to God. Jack is loving it so far!

We enjoy tailgating downtown with Ashley and Justin before the bengals/browns game - enjoying a friendly rivalry ;)

Jack loves to chant "GO Bengals" with Mr. Justin which of course gets Joe all worked up!!

And finally we got to spend a beautiful Fall day at the lake celebrating Opa's 87th birthday! How lucky we are to have such a strong man to look up to. I love that my children have him in their lives - so special!
