Winter Days

Life has been quiet and simple around here and we are settling into life with 3! Jack and Elisabeth continue to be the best of friends and find so many ways to keep themselves entertained around the house!

Just a photo dump of pictures that make me smile just thinking of the games and the imaginations that went into most of these situations!

(Accidentally left the door open and the chickens snuck in!)

Warm winter evenings make great bonfire nights! The kids love roasting marshmallows!

“Look Mama we made bunk beds!!” 😂

They always want Josefine near them and they always ask to babysit her while I do things around the house - win win for me!

Jack also often asks if he can go hang out with Elisabeth when she wakes up from her nap and they always say “Mama stay downstairs we will let you know when we’re ready for you to get Elisabeth out” it usually lasts about 30-45 minutes and I LOVE sitting outside the closed door listening to them chat and giggle!

This is how Elisabeth always hides from us and it cracks me up!! “Mama, Mama where is yisabiffa”

She’s got him wrapped around her finger 😘

Visits from college roommates! Exploring our old stomping grounds

Elisabeth wrote her first E all by herself! She was so proud and now makes her mark all over!

Bedtime stories with Mama!

Sisters and babies!! Loved having Amy and Zhenya in town to visit - so much quality time and memories made!

These 2 do hours of art each week - pictures are taking over my house and I love all their creativity! Jack’s art is getting so much more detailed and developed. He recently drew Superman and he just doesn’t leave out any details - the cape, the Superman symbol, the belt. He also has gotten so good at staying in the lines when he colors. I am really enjoying his love of art

Joe took the kids downtown to see the children’s theatre production of Madagascar and they of course loved it! I told them
Before they left to pick out some fancy clothes for the show downtown and naturally they came down dressed as a lion and giraffe! Wouldn’t expect anything else!

I would say things have been pretty fun around here lately! It’s been a cozy, relaxing and memorable winter! Love these crazy kiddos!
