Family Time after Charlotte’s arrival

We were so lucky to have Joe home for 2 weeks when Charlotte was born. If was truly the best and most memorable and relaxing two weeks. We got to walk jack to school as a family, snuggle a ton with Charlotte, go on a few outings, take some good naps, took a few good walks, had lots of visitors, and built a ton of fires! I have such a special place in my heart for that unscheduled time we had together and I will cherish the memories.

Amy came in town the weekend after Charlotte Was born for a quick visit. It was so great for her to meet the little niece! We packed the weekend full of fun!

We even snuck in a sister breakfast the morning before she flew home - we love you Amy!!

Charlotte meets Great Oma and Great Opa! This always feels like such a special introduction since all my girls are named after Oma and her sisters! She ALWAYS says the baby looks JUST like the sister she is named after. I love that she thinks that! 

So many board games played over the two weeks! What a treat to have so much attention and time with Papa!!
