Amy and Zhenya visit and Family Photos!

Due to the pandemic and lots of travel restrictions we have missed Amy and Zhenya a lot this year and haven’t got as much time with Amy as normal. Each time we’ve seen them has felt soo special! We got to have them for a week in October and it was so great and memorable and as always flew by! 

Lots of family time, special niece and nephew days, professional photos, sibling night and a girls getaway night at our lake house. Take me back!

We even got to visit Oma and Opa from the porch/backyard - not the same but we will take it for now to keep them safe! 

Our overnight at the lake consisted of a 10 mile walk (so typical wetterau girls), lots and lots of talking and laughing way late into the night, tea drinking and cooking, and sorting through all our childhood photos cleaning them out and reminiscing! We were only gone for about 18 hours but it felt so much longer!  It was so great and such a nice quiet getaway 

Tante Amy and Uncle Zhenya are the best!!! Hours after they left Josefine was already crying that she missed them 😍
